The "Bear" Story
When Bear, our beloved Black Lab found us he was scruffy and looking for a good home. We took him in and as they say, the rest is history...
One day, Bear sneaked into our custom meat and jerkys shop and pulled a 100 foot roll of salmon pepperoni off the cutting table. When we followed the roll out the door and across our parking lot, there was Bear in the bushes gulping down the smoked salmon as fast as he could!
Bear's love for salmon prompted us to create a treat just for him. With his new found energy and glossy black coat, he has shown that wild salmon is as good for dogs as it is for us.
Why Wild Salmon?
- A healthy heart and glossy coat: Wild Alaskan Salmon contains one of the highest concentrations of Omega- fatty acids, which have been shown to:
- Improve skin tone and hair growth
- Reduce Dog Shedding
- Ease pain of Dog Arthritis and Hip Displaysia
- Inhibit formation of blood clots
- Reduce risk of cardiac arrest
- Increase energy levels
- Inhibit growth of cancer cells
- Lower blood pressure
- Improve brain function (the brain has by far the highest concentration of Omega Fatty Acids in the body)
-
Wild Salmon has been proven to contain one of the lowest levels of contaminants of all cold-water fish. Our fish has been independently tested and showed no-detectable levels of contaminants (results available upon request)
The incredible health benefits of wild salmon are hard to ignore! Every day it seems a new article comes out on the many benefits of Omega Fatty Acids.
Our fish oil contains 38%! Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
We don't stop there: Add the option of all natural, antioxidant rich Blueberries or Cranberries for a dog treat recipe like no other.

Dog Treats infused with Blueberries
Researchers at the USDA Human Nutrition Center have found that blueberries rank #1 in antioxidant activity when compared to 40 other fresh fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants help neutralize harmful by-products of metabolism called "free radicals" that can lead to cancer. (http://www.blueberry.org/health.htm#Health) |

Dog Treats with Cranberries
Antioxidant Powerhouse:
Cranberries are a rich source of antioxidants, according to the Cranberry Institute, a trade association for cranberry growers. In a study funded by the Institute it was found that: "Cranberries contained the most antioxidant phenols compared to 19 commonly eaten fruits. Cranberries are loaded with antioxidants and should be eaten more often," said study author Joe Vinson, Ph.D., research chemist at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. |

Pure, fresh Alaskan Salmon Oil
Fish oil benefits happen as a result of the long chain omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA found in Fish Oil. These are not found in flax seed or other vegetable oils. Scientific evidence reveals a diet rich in long chain omega-3 fatty acids helps support healthy joint movement, a healthy immune system, a balanced mood and sense of well being, healthy kidneys, a healthy brain, strength and stamina and helps maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range.
